OMG! I better write it today before I forgot what I want to say.

I watched LOTR-The Two Towers yesterday. And OMG! It was amazing. Fricking amazing! Totally really amazing. So how amazing it is?

Firstly, the characters. Frodo looked a lil bit worn out, but that was kinda expected as he is the ring-bearer after all. But Sam, man! He has grown from being the wimp sidekick into some sorta saviour for Frodo. A friend in need indeed. And Merry and Pippin, with the Ents. Didn't know the hobbits have some cunning ability in 'em! On the sidenote: Don't pissed the trees off. You may never want to set path on them again.

The most amazing character had to be Gollum/Smeagol. Funny though, when I read the book, I always perceive him to have some sort of hidden agenda. But dang it, he can't be that cute when you suppose to despise him. ceh! His appetite to raw food against Sam really put some light moments in the story.

Then... there's Gimli! He was the funniest lil man in this side of the battle. Can't wait to hit on people, to win the battle, yet, his enthusiasm made it all worth it. In the book, he and Legolas always tease each other, what with their differences in culture and their way of life.

Legolas was just droolable as always. His character didn't shine that much. I don't know, when you compared him to the hobbits for example, at least for the hobbits, you can see the changes in them. But him, even in this second installment, kinda stays the same. But he is very loyal to Aragorn. Without Gandalf, Aragorn was the one in charge. And their belief and fate in him made an emotional story. By the way, Legolas had the best Get-into-the-horse-scene I ever watched in my whole cinematic experience.

Aragorn! In the beginning of the movie, his character was a lil subdued. Because the fellowship had just broken, so he seems like he wanted to find the path. Then, over the course of the movie, his character took the centrestage. He is the main character, as the movie focused on his love, his motivation, and overall, his leadership quality that made him so appealing to me.

The second movie is different as it's focused on the war. The first one was so scary, just because of the existence of the Black Riders. Man! When you watch it or read it, you just feel really hopeless. The Darkness will win, and yet, you know it in you that nobody can beat a skateboard elf while shooting his arrow.

The whole batter scene was so well done that it made me wanted to jump into the screen and beat the heck out of those Orcs. Really!

Overall, I love it! I can still feel the effect till now. And usually, if I watced any other movies, I didn't really remember it. But now... man! I wanna go and watch it again. And again...

Can't wait for The Return of the King.

It was an okay annual dinner. It was really. hehehe...

Ok, ok, it was just okay. There are some boring moments (aka, the karaoke kept of dragging us to the night), not to mention the whole quite uncomfortable dress that I got (it was too small in the stomach area) and there's a lots of males, and the deafening speakers.

But then again, I got to wear make-up, I got to meet all the IT gangs that I didn't see for quite a while, and I got two presents! One is the gas stove, and the other one is an electric iron from our CEO. Sooo... it was quite a fruitful night I suppose.

The breakfast next morning was great. It's been quite a while since I had a big English Breakfast. And it was just so nicely satisfying while it lasts. The hotel wasn't so bad either, I got a good short sleep, comfortable beds and oh geee, everyone satisying our every whim. What more can you ask for again?
