The Top Songs of 2003 (shh... it's what I think k?)

1. Clock- by Coldplay
Very very haunting song. Very very good songs, the beauty is in its simplicity. It got me at the piano chord. And at that moment, I felt really really lucky to know Coldplay even before all those hooplas with Paltrow. shesh! *roll eyes* but but... at the same time, I'm glad probably because of that, the song had been given the NOD. whew. Yes, I like this song, but at the same time I'm afraid it will be turned out to be like Trouble, in which I like, but then, later on, I skipped it.

2. Blowin' Me Up - JC Chasez (OMG! I can spell!)
What? I can sooo heard you say. What? You know I have special affinity with drums. Drums and more drums. That is why The Animal Song (by Savage Garden) needs bigger drums. And I found it in this song. wohoo! It's fun, and it doesn't take itself too seriously, which works. Besides, it has camel and the dorkiest dance in this side of Darren I ever seen. So yea, is that really JC who belted out the most soulful Richard Marx song in The New Mickey Mouse Club. yea... how time's changing. So, I'm really happy for this song.

3. Where is the Love- Black Eyed Peas.
The Anti-War anthem of 2003. Damm, I even put this song in my list because of the guts they have, to brought forward the probably the most unpopular America's public opinion out. shesh. Sometimes, I wish hip-hop was more like this than talking about booty and all those shits. Nevermind me.

4. Attitude- Suede
This is the song where it has a video that works for it. A seemingly old drag queen was shown being on the stage, only the lights are shown and the audience are dark, cannot be seen. Then the lights were on, and it turned out to be empty. Slowly, this man walked into the changing room, and took off his fake eyelashes and make up. Dang! He turned out to be an ordinary grandpa whom I could brush shoulder everytime I walk in the UK. Yes, it made an impression to me.

5. Dekat Padamu- Yusry.
This song is addictive at first listen. It's a good single from this man who's just gone solo after years working with his bros in highly recognised group- KRU. So, this song is just great, and love the sax best in the chorus, it brought back memories into the 70a where the songs were simpler back then, no need to layer it with electronics and whatsoever.

The Worst Song:

1. I'm lovin' it.
No. Just no. No No. Bring back Ronald, and all will be forgotten McD. And the song sucks. Like. ergh. No way! no no no!

The Best Album of the Year 2003.

Kish Kash- Basement Jaxx.
Yes, it got the top honour for making me feel. That's it, from the first song- Good Luck, which so freaking sarcastic that every girlfriend should use this for their cheating boyfriend and to the Prince-ly like falsetto in Plug It In, the Bhangra drums in Lucky Star (told ya me is about drums) to the enchanting melody of Feels Like Home. Dance music is more than useless beat in the crowd. Force of Gravity (Bt- Emotional Technology) first repel the cliche, and this album strengthen it, and after this, I don't think anybody listen to dance music just cos they wanna dance. They will listen just because they can. Nuff said.
